Deze handleiding begeleidt u bij de installatie van Bitdefender Total Security + VPN. U krijgt aan het einde uitgebreide bescherming voor maximaal 5 van uw apparaten voor een periode van 2 jaar. Om door te gaan, heeft u toegang nodig tot uw klantenaccount in onze winkel en een stabiele internetverbinding.

Stap 1: Software downloaden vanuit het klantaccount
Uw installatiebestand staat in uw klantenaccount onder Downloads klaargezet. Download de software uitsluitend van daar om er zeker van te zijn dat u de correcte en door ons geleverde versie ontvangt.
- Inloggen: Open uw klantenaccount en log in met uw inloggegevens.
- Bekijk bestelling: Navigeer naar de sectie "Mijn bestellingen" en selecteer de bestelling voor Bitdefender Total Security + VPN | 5 apparaten | 2 jaar.
- Downloaden starten: Klik op de verstrekte downloadlink. De download van het installatiebestand start automatisch en wordt opgeslagen in uw standaard downloadmap.
- Licentiesleutel noteren: De benodigde activeringssleutel voor uw licentie vindt u ook binnen de besteldetails in uw klantenaccount. Kopieer deze sleutel nu, zodat u deze direct bij de hand heeft.
💡 Tip: Bewaar het gedownloade installatiebestand goed. Het kan nuttig zijn als u Bitdefender op een ander apparaat wilt installeren of na een systeemherstel opnieuw wilt installeren.

Stap 2: Voer de installatie uit
Nadat u het installatiebestand heeft gedownload, is het tijd om Bitdefender Total Security + VPN op uw apparaat te installeren. Volg deze stappen zorgvuldig:
- Voer het installatieprogramma uit: Navigeer naar de map waarin u het gedownloade bestand heeft opgeslagen (meestal de map 'Downloads'). Zoek het installatiebestand (vaak met de naam "
Bitdefender_Total_Security.exeof vergelijkbaar) en voer het uit door erop te dubbelklikken. - Gebruikersaccountbeheer (UAC): Uw besturingssysteem vraagt mogelijk of u wilt toestaan dat de app wijzigingen aan uw apparaat aanbrengt. Klik hier op " Ja"om door te gaan met de installatie.
- Installatiewizard: De Bitdefender-installatiewizard wordt gestart. Kies uw voorkeurstaal als u hierom wordt gevraagd. Lees de licentieovereenkomst aandachtig door. Om door te gaan, moet u akkoord gaan met de voorwaarden door het desbetreffende selectievakje aan te vinken. Klik vervolgens op " 'Installeren' of 'Verder'".
- Installatiepad (optioneel): In de meeste gevallen wordt het standaardinstallatiepad voorgesteld. Als u dit wilt wijzigen, klikt u op de desbetreffende optie (vaak 'Geavanceerde instellingen' of 'Pad wijzigen') en selecteert u een andere opslaglocatie. Voor de meeste gebruikers is het standaardpad echter de beste keuze. Klik vervolgens op " 'Verder'".
- Windows begint nu met de installatie. Dit duurt, afhankelijk van het systeem, 20-40 minuten. Uw computer zal meerdere keren opnieuw opstarten. De installer begint nu met het installeren van de benodigde bestanden op uw systeem. Dit kan enkele minuten duren. U ziet een voortgangsbalk die u de huidige status toont.
- Installatie voltooid: Zodra de installatie is voltooid, ziet u een bevestigingsbericht. Klik op 'Voltooien' of 'Sluiten'om de installatiewizard af te sluiten.
⚠️ Opmerking: Het is belangrijk om de installatie uit te voeren vanaf het bestand dat wij hebben verstrekt. Vermijd het downloaden van installatieprogramma's van websites van derden om compatibiliteitsproblemen of beveiligingsrisico's te voorkomen.

Stap 3: Voer de licentiesleutel in en activeer
Na de succesvolle installatie moet Bitdefender Total Security + VPN nog worden geactiveerd met uw aangeschafte licentiesleutel. Dit ontgrendelt de volledige functionaliteit en de geldigheidsduur van uw licentie.
- Start Bitdefender: Open Bitdefender Total Security + VPN. You can do this either via a shortcut on your desktop or by searching for "Bitdefender" in the Start menu and selecting the application.
- Activatievenster vinden: Immediately after the first start or via the main menu (often under "Account", "License" or "Subscription"), you will find an option to activate or enter the license key. Click on this option.
- Voer uw Windows 10 Enterprise licentiesleutel in die u uit uw klantenaccount hebt gekopieerd. Als u deze later wilt invoeren, klikt u op "Ik heb geen Product Key". Voer de licentiesleutel die je in stap 1 uit je klantenaccount hebt gekopieerd, precies in het daarvoor bestemde veld in. Let op hoofd- en kleine letters en eventuele koppeltekens.
- Activeren: Klik op de knop 'Activeren'AOMEI Backupper Professional 'Apply license' of een vergelijkbare tekst.
- Bevestiging: Bitdefender will now try to verify the key online. If successful, you will receive confirmation that your license is active. The 2-year term begins from this point.
⛔ Belangrijk: If activation fails, please first check if you have entered the license key correctly. Pay special attention to spaces at the beginning or end. Ensure your internet connection is stable. If the problem persists, please contact our support.

Stap 4: Installatie en initiële configuratie
After activation, Bitdefender will usually guide you through some basic setup steps to optimize your system's security.
- Eerste scan: Bitdefender will likely perform an initial system scan to look for existing threats. Let this process complete.
- Updates: Ensure that Bitdefender downloads the latest virus definitions and software updates. This usually happens automatically, but you can manually check the update function in the settings.
- VPN-installatie: If you want to use the VPN, you may be prompted to set it up or install the VPN component. Follow the on-screen instructions. You can log in with your Bitdefender account to manage VPN usage.
- Extra modules: Bitdefender Total Security offers a variety of features such as firewall, password manager, parental controls, etc. Go through the different modules and activate or configure them according to your wishes. Many features are enabled by default and provide immediate protection.
- Account aanmaken (Optioneel): You may be prompted to create a Bitdefender account or log in with an existing account. This is often necessary to use the VPN function and other cloud-based services and to manage your licenses centrally.

Stap 5: Controleer alles - je bent klaar!
To ensure everything is working correctly, take a moment for the final check.
- Statusindicator: In the main Bitdefender window, check if the protection status is displayed as "Secure" or "Protected". A green checkmark or similar indicator confirms that all components are active.
- Controleer updates: Go to the update settings again and check if the virus definitions are up to date. Regular updates are crucial for protection against new threats.
- VPN-verbinding: If you have set up the VPN, start it briefly and check if the connection is successfully established.
- Apparaatbescherming: Bitdefender Total Security + VPN protects against a variety of online threats by default, including viruses, ransomware, phishing, and more. Trust the automatic scans and protection features.
